This week in Red Beard Homestead’s Kitchen Creations, I show you how to make the best beef jerky you’ll ever have! It’s Easy, Fun, and oh so Tasty!!!

Sweet Heat Beef Jerky (works great with Venison too)
2 lbs of lean meat (mostly frozen, and sliced into 1/8th strips)
1 cup of Soy Sauce
1/4 cup of Orange Juice
2 Tbsp of Honey
1 Tbsp of Siracha
4 Cloves of Garlic
Fresh Ginger (about the size of a big garlic clove)
1 medium Jalapeño chopped finely
1 Tbsp of Crushed Red Pepper
1 Tbsp of Black Pepper
1 Tbsp of Brown Sugar
1 Tsp of Cayenne Pepper
1 Tsp of Onion Powder
1 Tsp of Cumin
1/2 Tsp of ground cloves

Slice the meat, Mix the marinade, combine and let sit over night (24 hrs if possible). Place meat strips on the dehydrator trays, and run the dehydrator at 160 degrees for about 4-6 hrs checking jerky periodically. Remove Jerky from dehydrator as it is done. Eat responsibly; don’t try and consume the whole batch in one sitting.
