Fire up your smokers! We’re throwin’ in some pineapple teriyaki beef jerky! Beef jerky prices in stores are ridiculous, so there’s no reason not to make your own- plus, it’s way better and you can make any flavor you want! Sounds like a good plan to me. I’ve always been a fan for sweeter jerkys like teriyaki. Let’s get started!

-Grab 4lbs of your meat of choice- I have top round
-Trim any access fat as necessary
-Put in freezer for 30min-1hr to help firm up the meat
-Cut your meat into slices

-Worcestershire sauce
-Soy sauce
-Brown sugar
-Crushed red pepper flakes
-Cayenne Pepper
-Black Pepper
-Salt
-Garlic Powder
-Onion Powder
-1 bottle of teriyaki marinade- I’m using Lawry’s teriyaki w/ pineapple
-Canned pineapple chunks/juice
-Mix beef and marinade
-Bag it and put in fridge overnight- mix it around as often as possible to make sure marinade soaks evenly in meat
-Pull out jerky after it marinades overnight
-Pat all slices and dry with paper towel
-Lay out jerky on grates- try to separate the slices as much as possible
-Get your smoker up to 170f and add choice of wood- I’m using hickory
