In this video i’ll show you my Beef Jerky recipe i’ve been using for almost 10 years! We also run a little experiment with MSG to see if we can make the recipe even better!

For reference, here’s the beef jerky recipe:
– 1 cup soy sauce
– 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
– 1/2 tsp ground ginger
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp ground white pepper
– 1/2 tsp paprika
– 2 tsp caster sugar
Sometimes i’ll add a shot of bourbon too. I’ll also sometimes add some chilli flakes instead of seasoning with a beef rub. Cherry wood or bourbon barrel oak are my favourite smoking woods to pair with beef jerky. If you don’t have a smoker, you can do this recipe all in your dehydrator, if you don’t have a smoker or dehydrator, you can use an oven on the lowest temperature and leave the door cracked open for better air flow and it will help keep the temperature down too.
