Want to make Beef Jerky but don’t have a dehydrator or a smoker? No problem just use your oven!!! Using your favorite marinade, set your oven to the lowest setting (150-170 F) place meat (1/8th to 1/4 inch thick) on the racks and let sit for 4-6 hours for it to dry. Open the oven door once in a while to let some moisture out. Once the Jerky is dry to your satisfaction, remove, cool and store. Excess Jerky should be kept in the freezer for longer shelf life.

Marinade Recipe I use:
2/3 cup worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup soy sauce
1 Table Spoon of Honey
2 Tea Spoons of Pepper
2 Tea Spoons of Onion Powder
1 Tea Spoon of Liquid Smoke
1 Tea Spoon of Red Pepper Flakes
4 Dashes of Tabasco Sauce
Let sit over night.
