I made this Homemade Beef Jerky using my Masterbuilt Electric Smoker. I decided to use my Masterbuilt Smoker because it is the best smoker I have for maintaining really low temperatures. The temperature I was smoking my Beef Jerky at was around 125 to 130 degrees. It took a little longer to cook than normal due to some rain that we got that I think added some additional humidity.

Beef Jerky Tips:
* Cook or smoke at as low of a temperature as possible
* Let the sliced beef marinate for at least 8 hours
* If using oven, add 2 Tbsp liquid smoke
* Don’t overthink the jerky marinade. Use a flavor profile you like

Ingredients for Spicy Teriyaki Beef Jerky:
2 Pounds of Thinly sliced beef
1 CupTeriyaki Sauce
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Ginger paste (or minced ginger)
1/2 Tbsp Onion powder
1/2 Tbsp Garlic powder
Red Pepper Flakes (to taste)
