Homemade Beef Jerky

This homemade beef jerky was made in an air fryer. Its keto friendly, low carb, sugar free and super easy to make.

Ingredients
1 ½-2 lbs of top round steak
½ cup soy sauce
1 tps chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs onion powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbs black pepper
1 tbs crushed red pepper flakes
½ tsp liquid smoke
1 tbs hot sauce
1 tbs brown sugar substitute

optional cayenne pepper, jalapeno seasoning

Slice up your steak into thin strips and remove as much fat as possible from the steak. Season with soy sauce, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, liquid smoke, hot sauce and brown sugar substitute. Rub all seasonings into the meat and place in a plastic bag to marinate overnight. The next day remove meat from the bag and place on a baking sheet on a wire rack and pat dry excess liquid and place in the oven at 150 degrees for 6-8 hours depending on your oven. Or in your air fryer on dehydrate mode which is 150 degrees. My air fryer said it would take 6 hours but it only took 3 i guess it depends on the thickness of your cuts.
