Dogs provide us with unconditional love and lots of joy. No wonder they are the most popular pets in the US. However, having a puppy in the home is often a great deal of work. You must be prepared to provide solid training. You will soon have a well-trained dog if you use the above advice.
Training your pet to roll over very easy. Just remember to have treats in hand. Start by getting the dog to lay down. Then, position a treat near the floor to one side of him, raise it up and move it over to the opposite side. Your dog is probably going to follow the treat in your hand with his nose, which means he will rollover his whole body. As he rolls, state the command “roll over” in a firm tone. Repeat the process until your dog associates the command with the action. Be persistent and do not give up; it might take a while but will be worth it once they learn it.

When you are training your dog with a leash, try to ensure that the leash is loose. Dogs are often eager to explore new territory when they get the opportunity to go for a walk. Many dogs will strain against the leash due to their eagerness. The smart owner discourages this behavior, teaching the dog to walk with a slack leash instead.

If you are consistent, it is possible to teach a dog to delay responding to nature’s call. If at home, be sure to spend some time with him and bring him outside every 50 minutes. When he does use the bathroom outdoors, give him lots of praise. If you dog has an accident inside your house, do not scold him. In the beginning, they won’t understand what they did wrong. Have the dog outside around 15 minutes post-meal or drink to ensure he can empty himself.
