Homemade Beef Jerky on a Kamado Joe only gets better when you add bourbon!
Eye of round sliced into circles and marinated over night, roughly 18 hrs. Marinade is as follows
1/2 cup Bourbon of your choice
1 Tbsp. Chocolate Liquor
1/2 cup of Worchester Sauce
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp. Ground Pepper
Soak your meat in the mixture overnight! Drain off excess juice. When your temp comes up to roughly 175f place your meat in the Kamado and check after 3 hours. The final texture is going to be subjective everyone likes Beef Jerky a little different so just check as often as you like.
