Beef jerky is a type of dry beef. It has been used for 100 of years by drying the meat and consume at the time of need. In Indo-Pakistan region too people were used to dry their meat for future needs and they way they used to do is like drying clothes outside their homes or on the terrace. They used to have a big rope where they used to dry long strips of meat and once dry, they were consuming either by frying in oil or just cook on fire or stove. It is an ancient way of saving meat for later time. Now we have more advanced things available. I dry or dehydrate my meat on oven or in an airfryer. The benefits of drying in air-fryer are they are quicker and meat can be consumed as it is without frying further.

Ingredients
1. Beef 1 1/2 lbs cut in long strips.
2.Salt 1 tsf
3. Crushed green peppers 2 tsf
4. Crushed Garlic 2 tsf
5. Crushed Ginger 1 1/2 tsf
6.Red perrer 2 tsf
7.Turmeric powder 1 1/2 tsf
8. Roasted Cumin seeds 1 tsf
9. Cooking Oil 1 tsf
10. Coriander seeds powder

Directions.
Wash beef strips with water.
Drain water and keep for an hour so all water can be drained.
Now transer all the strips in a bowl.
Add Salt and all above masalas in the beef strips and mix them well.
Keep marinated Beef strips for 3-4 hours in the refrigerator or overnight will be best so masala can be deeply mixed.
Now grease air fryer with oil and transfer all the beef strips in airfryer to dry for 20 minutes.
Turn the strips one time in between.
Strips are ready they can be served as it is.
They can be saved for later time, in an airtight bag.
